Hello, I’m Wendy, the founder of the Center for Somatic Grieving.

My mission, deeply rooted in my own story of loss and transformation, is to guide individuals through the healing process of grief. My journey began with a profound personal tragedy—the loss of my son, Noah. This heartbreak propelled me on a path of self-discovery and fueled my commitment to support others in navigating the complexities of grief.

Living in Boulder, CO, I find peace and solace in the embrace of nature. My passions for travel, connecting deeply with others, and the joy of live music have been vital in my own growth and healing journey.

With more than 25 years immersed in the practice and teaching of yoga, I've dedicated my life to blending the art of yoga therapy with grief support. I am a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and yoga instructor, with extensive training in group facilitation, leading yoga teacher training, and Reiki. My work is deeply inspired by luminaries such as Ram Dass, Shiva Rea, Twee Merrigan, and the methodologies of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy.

In 2012, motivated by my personal experience of loss, I founded the Grief Support Network (GSN), a non-profit organization aimed at providing support and community for those grieving. Building on the foundations of GSN, I established the Center for Somatic Grieving to further my vision of transforming how we as individuals and communities perceive, experience, and navigate loss. My goal is to foster a culture that recognizes grief as an opportunity for growth, healing, and deeper connection.

My Approach

My approach weaves together personal reflection, group sharing, and a grief-focused, somatic curriculum. I am here to accompany you on your journey of healing, offering tools and spaces where your grief can be witnessed, held, and transformed.

Together, let's embrace the path of healing and discovery, finding strength and connection in our shared experiences of loss.

In this spirit of connection and healing,

I warmly invite you to reach out for a complimentary 30-minute call.

Together, we can explore which of our programs aligns with your journey and how we can best support you through this transformative process. It's an opportunity for us to connect personally, to hear your story, and to offer guidance tailored to your needs.
